Letter Writing to Prisoners

The Radical Cat will be hosting a drop-in community letter-writing event to reach out to incarcerated folks in Nevada and beyond with messages of support and solidarity from the outside. Prison is an isolating and dehumanizing place and, in the spirit of abolition, we believe that strengthening connections and building community across prison walls and fences is a key step towards reimagining our failing carceral system. Stop by the shop anytime on Sunday, October 18th from 1-3 PM and write a letter – really just a brief note of friendly, loving contact – to someone on the inside. They will have all materials and instructions available and ready to go. Free and open to all.
